The Fade Records label was established in 1995
by Chris Fortier of Orlando, Florida, USA. The
label is set up to release tracks written and
produced by Fade Productions. Chris Fortier and
Neil Kolo formed Fade Productions in the summer of
1993 as a production company for their original
tracks. The first Fade productions, "For All the
People" and "All I Got" were distributed
individually as one-sided promos. The two tracks
were then combined as a double A-sided release,
the first commercial release on Fade Records.
"All I Got," was subsequently signed and released
on Mushroom Records in the UK (also see Foreign
Policy (UK)).
The Fade Productions duo produce their own
original tracks, remix tracks of other artists,
and DJ all over America, Canada, England, Scotland
and Germany. They signed a multi-album deal with
Limbo Records of Glasgow, Scotland, in February
1996. Original tracks are released under the
monikers Fade, Nutribe, Calyx, Kalyx, Psiphonic,
Kolo
